 CLASS 3  BAKING

NOTE :  ALL BAKING TO BE SHOWN ON PAPER OR TINFOIL
                PLATES, PLACED IN PLASTIC BAGS.  
ENTRIES TO BE
                PLACED THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 11th, 5: 00 - 9:00  P.M.
                IN THE  SCHOOL FAIR BUILDING.

PRIZES:    $5.00, 4.00, 3.00.   sections 1 - 5.

SECTION

1.    3 Butter tarts.
2.    3 Brown sugar fudge.
3.    3 Chocolate fudge, without nuts.
4.    A decorated sugar cookie.
5.    3 Plain tea biscuits.  Grades 6 - 8.

                      CLASS 3 - SPECIALS

6.  BY GUTHRIE  W. I.
    
a)   3 Decorated cupcakes.  Grades 6 - 8.
    
b)   3 Oatmeal cookies.  Grades JK - 5.
   
c)   3  Chocolate brownies, iced.
     PRIZES:  $1.00, .75, .50, 3 prizes of .25.
 7. ORO AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY       
      Chocolate Chip Cookie Competition:
      Open to all youth ages 10 - 15 years (as of Dec., 2008).  Eight (8) Chocolate 
      Chip cookies (displayed on firm disposable plate.  Cookies no larger than
      3in (6.75 cm.)  and no smaller than 2 in. (5 cm.).  Overall winner to be
      entered in the District 5 Fair Competition in October.   
      PRIZES: $5.00, 4.00, 3.50, 3.00, 2.50, 2.00.
        
8.   BY CLOWES W.I.
      a)   3 Banana muffins.              b)   3 Chocolate chip cookies.      
      PRIZES:  $1.50, 1.25, 1.00, .75, 6 prizes of .50 for each category.

9.  ROBIN HOOD FLOUR CONTEST              12 yrs. and younger   
  
    Lunch box snack             3  homemade squares or bars, of the same variety.
    Judging will  be based on appearance,  taste, texture, and recipe.   Please 
    include recipe .

    PRIZES:   1st Place - $10.00 (donated by Robin Hood), 2nd - 5.00, 3rd - 3.00,
                      4th- 2.00 (donated by Oro Agricultural Society)

Layer cake, using a cake mix, with a filling and iced top.    Grade 4 - 8.
        PRIZES:  $2.50, 2.25, 2.00, 1.75, 1.50.

         Krispie Creation     
         a)  Halloween  Theme. Grades JK - 3.                 
         b)  Halloween Theme. Grades 4 - 8.
       
Using a Rice Krispie Recipe be creative with additional ingredients,
         decorating and shape.
         PRIZES:  $2.00, 1.75, 1.50, 1.00, .75, 6 prizes of .50.

A hard-boiled egg decorated and in an egg holder.
         a)   Grades JK - 3.                           b)   Grades 4 - 8.

        3 shortbread cookies on a paper plate, placed in a plastic bag.
