Exhibits to be placed in the Garage by 7 p.m. Thursday September 16th.  All exhibits to be removed at 5 p.m. Saturday September 18th.  Prize money forfeited if removed early.  There is no entry fee but you  must obtain exhibitor number from the  Fair SecretaryHigh point exhibitor to have name on Junior Fair Plaque, not to be won more than two consecutive years.

Class 1JF  - VEGETABLES
Prizes: $4.00, 3.00, 2.00
1.   2 green cucumbers, slicing 15 cm or over
2.   5 beets, pickling size 2.5 - 5 cm.
3.   5 cherry tomatoes, stems on.
4.   5 white potatoes, uniform in size, clean.
5.   Most oddly shaped vegetable
6.   Longest Carrot - 1" stem
7.   Longest green/yellow bean
8.   Largest zucchini (circumference)

CLASS 2JF - BAKING

CLASS 3JF - ARTS & CRAFTS

2.  Pencil Sketch - Your Favourite "Olympic Winter Sport" (hand drawn, not traced, mounted on firm paper)
3.  Pencil Sketch - Dog(s) or Cat(s) (mounted on firm paper)
4.  Decorate a "Memory Box" no larger than 9" x 12" (shoebox)
5.  Jewellery - Handcrafted Necklace (no kits), any medium

CLASS 4 JF - FLOWERS

1.  Coffee Table arrangement of wild flowers (not exceeding 25cm)

3.   An arrangement of sunflowers (same variety) - 3 stems

Make a "Building" from "Graham Crackers" and decorate with edibles.  Label building and display
on a sturdy board, not to exceed 45cm x 45cm.

S-6 SECRETARY'S SPECIAL
Create a one-page scrapbook layout - maximum size 30cm by 30cm.  "Celebrating a Special Occasion".

S-10 HAWKESTONE WOMEN'S INSTITUTE
Christmas Wreath - any material, ready to hang.

S-11 SIMCOE EAST DISTRICT WOMEN'S INSTITUTE
"Con Kerr Cancer a Case for Smiles Competition"
Make a pillow case.  All entries will be donated to the Hospital for Sick Children, for
children undergoing cancer treatment.  Please contact a committee member, as there are
special instructions for making the pillowcase.
Prizes:  $10.00, $5.00, $3.00

S-12 ORO AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY
- Grades 7 - 12
         Youth Poster Competition:  Theme "Promoting Your Fair"
Must be made by  youth in grades 7 - 12.  Poster size minimum 23cm x
28 cm to maximum of 28 cm x 44 cm., without border, each entry must be mounted on a black
background with a 5 cm border
.  First place winner will be entered in the District 5 Fair competition, in
October.  This winning poster will be retained by the Oro Agricultural Society for one year.
 Prizes:  $7.00, 5.00, 3.00

S-13 ORO AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY
        Chocolate Chip Cookie Competition:
Open to all youth ages 13 - 15 years (as of Dec.2010).  Eight (8) Chocolate Chip  cookies
displayed on firm disposable plate.   Cookies  no larger than 3 in (6.75 cm), or smaller than
2 in (5 cm).  Overall winner to be entered in  the District 5 Fair competition, in October.
Prizes: $7.00, 5.00, 3.00
